Hello Rick,
As Rafael mentions you can use the subscribe link which gives you hourly updates. Unfortunately we don’t have a daily digest system yet but it’s a good idea and something we’ve thought about but haven’t done yet.

The javascript method is not the best method to use. Better to do something server side, whether it’s through .htaccess or a server side scripting language. Using a server side scripting language to redirect is the better method as it’s easier to override and make exceptions to allow mobile users back to the main site if they choose.
There’s a bit of best practices explained by Google on page 24 of this pdf LINK.

You can change your thumbnail via the change poster frame controls. The controls are on your video page when you are logged in and viewing your video.

Hello Rafael,
This user has not posted in the site yet so their profile is not visible yet. We do this to protect ourselves from users who just make accounts to fill their profile with links to their site for SEO purposes. I guess to solve this we’ll have to adjust the system to not allow them to request friendship either.

You’re right. This has been fixed now. Hopefully most the bugs are worked out of the new video player conversion now. Appreciate you catching this.
The original will now be played when you click the original button, with the exception of originals that are flv files when being played on a platform that doesn’t use flash. Of course yours isn’t a flv but I add this note for other users who may run into a similar issue in the future.
A few additional feature of interest are:
1) When you click on different size variations the embed code changes so you can embed at different resolutions.
2) You can also change the width and height of the iframe in the embed code and the player will scale automatically.
3) The new embed auto-detects devices that don’t support flash and gives them the proper HTML5 play code.
4) The player auto detects mobile devices and gives them playback for their device.
5) The default player auto-detects a users bandwidth and tries to give a video with a proper bit-rate for better user play experience.
