Sometimes we do get advertising for our videos. We hope it will be an ongoing thing, but I believe it will be more sporadic.

The YouTube reference URL there is simply a reference for people to know what to put into the field. YouTube still uses that URL format. The idea is to put the YouTube video code in there, not the embed code.

    Hello Jim,

Take a look now. I believe it should be fixed. Thanks for pointing this out!

  • Hello Todd,

Thank you for jumping in and adding to this. I would like to help resolve any connectivity issues you may be having. I’m not seeing any indication you are technically having the same issues Todd P. was having, and I’m not seeing any entry in our firewall indicating your IP address was blocked. When did you last experience this connectivity issue?

  • As I took a look closer at your IP address, it seems your IP address tried to communicate with our system on port 137. This is a NetBIOS port, which intruders often scan and try to access when trying to penetrate a network or system. Thus, we block communications with IP addresses which try to access these or other obscure ports. Do you know why your IP address might have been trying to communicate to the COW in this manner?

Thank you for letting us know about this. There has not been any issues with our system lately. When was this occurring?

    Hello Pete,

Yes, when a user changes their name the associated account is put into moderation. This is due to our real names only policy, and the continuous attempt of people to use various fake names or company names. Once accounts are seen to be in compliance they are unmoderated, as is the case with your account. If you change your name back you will be automatically moderated, but then unmoderated after our moderators see their is nothing fishing going on.
