That’s correct. It does not apply the FX to the child tracks. That would be more like an Adjustment Layer in After Effects which would be a really cool feature to have in Vegas Pro.

February 3, 2013 at 9:54 pmThe only way I’m able to do this is to take the .veg (multiple child tracks w/ the parent track) and nest it. Apply the Track FX in the parent .veg (eg, Sony Black and White) and animate it. That appears to work.
