May 6, 2014 at 8:02 pmThis is just sooo confusing..
When I look at the 60p clips, frame by frame in Premiere, I get the one, two, one “still” frames. But I can preview these clips just fine in the timeline. I can also view the clips outside of Pre without problem.
Kind Regards,
Johan

July 7, 2014 at 5:32 pmGood to know. I’m just being brought in on a project where they have a sequence at 29.97 (1920×1080), but footage that ranges from 24p, 30p, 60i and SD 29.97. Didn’t see anything that looked messed up when watching in the timeline – except for the SD stuff, saw interlacing on a few shots – just had a sick feeling that upon exporting after color correction that it would raise issues.
The graphics guy is currently working on everything before sending us final files. Delivery to broadcast is 29.97 so I assume it’d be best to conform everything to that – and have the graphics guy send me files at 29.97 as well.
Is there anything I may be missing here that I should be looking for moving forward with my work to finish this project off?
