who here has figured out how to gamma correct for quicktime from premiere?

Hey guys,
Not sure this is any help. My experience is that exporting from native canon avc codec to h264 on mac gives an erroneous 1.8 gamma adjustment to your native 2.2 gamma footage. You can invert this effect by applying a gamma of 1.8/2.2 = .818. However, your timeline will look plainly wrong until export. I have been seriously burned by this and wish I knew a solution where what you see is what you get.
