I do.

There is a small number of people who post frequently, get great advice, yet remain remarkably clueless. In a way, it’s quite impressive.

I try to make it a habit to not reply at all to such people, because the only thing I want to do is shout something like “Why didn’t you just do what we told you yesterday, then you wouldn’t be in this bind today!” Or “Just read the f****ing manual, already. Take a class, dammit!”

But why I really want to reply is “Why don’t you just hire a skilled editor and be done with it?”

They’re also the same people who refuse to spend money in any way shape or form. They want to do HD with their Mac Minis or MacBooks when we tell them not to.

They don’t want to upgrade their hard drives because the 2 hour documentary project they’re working on wouldn’t cover it.

“But the specs on USB says I should be able to do this, so I’m not going to listen to you….”
