[Collin Alexander] “PNG and GIF formats support interlaced by the way Rafae”
Yes Colling. But PNGs or Tiff or PS, interlaced, makes sense where they are part of a Sequence. And this sequence will be PAL, NTSC or whatever video standard.
One individual interlaced still do not makes sense. Your PS still have not relation with any video standard until the moment that you set them in a FC sequence.
When you set your PS still in a interlaced sequence in FC, the still is properly interlaced inside FC with the rest of the pictures that you have in the sequence..
Refering to the 59.94 p footage, this is great to make slow motion. If you don’t go to slow down the footage there is not advantage with this footage. There is just a lot of redundant information that you have to get rid of. Revision-Fields Kit will helps you to work with those kind of footage, but you need to know well what are you doing.
The only thing you need to make your PS look good in FC, is to change the sequence codex.
If your time-line is DV, will never look as you want.

8b Unompress for example. In the moment you change the code, your canvas will look much better. DV is to short to keep all the quality of your PS files.
