My guess that is what you are looking at, I have run across a couple of weird DHV compression issues as of late.
especially in low light footage.

and Geffen makes a DVI to HDMI adaptor (but no audio)

While we’re on the subject of sort of alternative ways to go, how about this way?

Be careful, professional monitors really do need a blue gun for setting your bars correctly. We are looking at buying the Sony Luma 23″ lcd monitor, which has all of the broadcast adjustments in a seperate box.
Has anybody used this monitor? Is it worth $3000?
