[Charlie King] “OOOOOOOOO After Effects is coming to me pretty quickly.”

Now, I gotta start picking your brain. I have been trying to use AE for about 2 years now. I know most of the theoretical aspects of it, but can never really figure out what to do with it 😀

[Aanarav Sareen] “but can never really figure out what to do with it :D”

Do any of us really know what to do with it? Right now, I’m just doing all the things I use to talk my clients out of doing. They were cheesey then, seem to be the norm now,. (Or are they still cheesy, just more clients want cheesey?)

I have found some really nice effects that I have used that I like. I still believe the greatest effects are the ones you don’t see.

I should add, I had the pleasure of receiving a project that needed a minor change from the man that originally did the project. He gave me all his files because he had a new job and didn’t want to do this one anymore. That has been a great help in understanding the program, disecting someones timeline and seeing exactly how everything was constructed. Maybe you can get someone close to you to give you an old project you can take a look at.

I have one, but I would neeed an FTP Site to send it to, 47.5 megs, too big for e-mail. You really need the graphic elements of this file to see waht it is doing.
