July 2, 2010 at 4:11 amThanks, John, but don’t open the champagne yet.
Yes wave agent is free from the SD website.
And, this just in. I just read an email response from Jon Tatooles at SD that says the memo does NOT include the 744T. I asked him to recheck with FCP 7.0.2 because those were the symptoms and they went away after I used Wave Agent to change the TC from 30 ND to 29.97 ND, which was what the FCP timeline was set for.
Ain’t it a grand life!

January 23, 2012 at 7:54 pmHi,
I am having a very similar issue. As an editor I am not totally awesome at sound but can usually find my way around. However, I got audio from a 744T (Data Rate 562.5 K/sec; Audio 4 mono; Aud Rate 48.0 KHz; Aud Format 24-bit Integer) and am having tremendous difficulty syncing it with video from an EX 3 (29.97 fps; 1920×1080; XDCAM EX 1080i60 35 Mb/s VBR; 4.3 MB/sec; 2 Mono; 48.0 KHz; 16-bit Integer).
I immediately attempted to make a multiclip (there are four camera angles) and got the audio synced at the in point only to find at the end its off by many seconds. I did notice this thread said to download WaveAgent, is that the only solution and is my problem the same as the previous poster’s? Thank you!

I had that happen on an Apple Forum Board a few weeks back. An answer that had ben given about a year ago was the solution to my problem.
I was very happy.
Good luck and HNY,
Ty
