I too have experienced this thing with the Command key. Didn’t attribute it to the Wacom until now. Should have known.

Sounds like the same experience I’ve been having.
I’m on an Intuous 4 tablet – if I use the latest driver for that (sep 2015), i have all the problems you’ve mentioned.
I tried installing the latest wacom driver (2016) for their newer tablets – which fixed the problem in premiere for me – i could now click-drag and change effects parameters – *but* – it ended up giving me a bad experience system wide… often giving results like i’m command-clicking or option-clicking.. so i’ve had to revert to the other driver – and use the trackpad for adjusting effects parameters.

This issue is a pain in the ass, and is all the more annoying because it *only* happens in the premiere part of the adobe suite…
and in fact happens with no other software at all – only premiere.

Here is a video (1.8mb) of the problem: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2h71pt93v2y7jsn/WACOM_Premiere_problems.mp4?dl=0
Clearly the pen is unable to adjust any Adobe Premiere Effects parameters… which can be changed fine with the mouse / trackpad

Yep. It only happens in Premiere. At some point it worked with an older driver but not anymore. Let Adobe know and write here: https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html

Hi Tero – I’d already messaged ADOBE, and gotten no reply. Wacom have at least written back, but so far their efforts of instructing me to try various drivers have proven fruitless. For me, Premiere and the tablet have behaved weirdly for the last couple of years, but it was at least manageable. With the 2015.4 Premiere update though, that changed, and being completely unable to adjust effect parameters with the wacom pen is so super annoying… Hoping for a fix….

This SOLVED the problem for me.

    Eventually, via Wacom support:

Can you follow the instructions on the pdf file attached here and try these versions of the driver:
Remember to uninstall the driver installed in your computer before reinstalling a new one.
Current – Driver 6.3.18-4 for Mac

Alas this does not solve the problem for me. It seems the latest driver does not support the Intuos3.

Meh. Fixed the Premiere problem for me – but introduced a whole raft of other problems – general of the form – OS or various software is behaving like it is getting a CLICK+COMMAND press, when just a click has been made with the pen….

… which means that ‘clicking’ an app in the dock, actually command-clicks it – thereby revealing the app in finder, rather than opening it…

And causes giant amounts of command-clicking problems…

weirdly, it does it some of the time, not all of the time…

Am going to start researching WACOM ALTERNATIVES soon… getting pretty over this…

I’m having the same command-click problems with the 6.3.18-4 driver, so I went back to 6.3.8-2. Still buggy, but I was USED to those bugs. Although now I’m seeing some weirdness when I click on a timeline title tab — the tab wants to stick to the cursor and get dragged around.

Monoprice sells tablets — anyone have experience with those?

Uninstaling (with the PDF instruction give by and reinstaling drivers in this version “WacomTablet_6.3.18-4” SOLVED the problem for me.

I’m on a Mac Pro 2013 (trashcan) using Intuos 4 pro Small and Premiere Pro CC 2017.0.1
