Video Capture at 32 bit Audio needs rendering in FCP

[Søren Rye] “have some DV-material imported by iMovie. The audio is 48khz 32-bit floating bit. Every time I drag a new clip to the timeline in FCP, the audio needs to be rendered (only the audio). What is the solution for this?”
iMovie captures audio at 32Khz.
Solution: Capturing with FC.

Unless you really need exporting 48 Khz, you can set your FC sequence at 32Khz.
You won’t need to render.
