24p MPEG-2 is supported, but it should have the pulldown flags for 29.97 fps on a non-progressive display. The big advantage to using it is you can encode to MPEG-2 with less compression (and higher quality), since there are approximately 6 fewer frames per second.
I cannot claim expert knowledge in this area, so I’ll defer to any experts here, and advise researching more online if you have more questions.

up this answer.By the way, you work for Adobe right? Well, as I’ve said,
in the surveys they’ve sent me Encore is a great tool. Even
though I’m still learning, I can get it to do everything
