Well, as that was a semi transparent line just at the bottom, I kind of created a black small letterbox that “hides” the line, so it is gone now!, as for the TV’s used I really don’t know, this is a personal project that I wish to present to my family and friends, and I want to send a copy to them so the TV’s will be all different, I also wanted to use a projector, so I really don’t know. Does the fact of having an interlaced video in a progressive TV and viceversa affect the quality? because I’m going for progressive just know, as it looks better on the computer for now, and I really don’t want to go asking everybody the type of TV they have, in fact I don’t know my kind of TV.

    Thanks again for everything.

Progressive will look better sharper on your computer display since it is a progressive scan device. However, your progressive scan render will not look as good on a TV since it is interlaced. If your showing it on a TV and your in The US I would render interlaced. Many of us have a NTSC Video Monitor in addition to our computer monitor via a DV Firewire Converter. This allows us to select external monitor and see the project played on a video monitor.
Things always look much different on your NTSC Monitor than they do on your computer monitor. Some of the new TV’s can be switched to progressive but most TV’s out there are interlaced. However, many DVD players can play a progressive scanned DVD. Be aware if you go the progressive route that you must set DVD Architect Properties to progressive as well.

If I were you at this stage I would create a progressive version and a interlaced version. Play them back in your DVD Player and go with the one that looks best to you.

    Good luck and much success.

    Later…Rick.

Ok, so everything is finally clear to me now, I’ll do as you suggest. By the way, I am in Mexico so I suppose the formats are quite the same. I think burning a pair of versions to see which one suits me best will be a good idea, I will try it.

Regards and thank you yet again.

Don’t know if this would help but I was watching a tutorial today about AE and the guy doing it said to render an extra pixel – as in “781” instead of “780” (both height and width, one extra pixel) because of a problem with the edge in AE with some of its effects. It wouldn’t hurt to try.
