URGENT: Compressor won’t submit batch!

Hello all Compressor users,

I just found a fantastically simple solution to this problem (but I just found it with Google, so you probably all have by now as well.)

I closed Compressor, then these two commands, when I entered them into Terminal, solved the “verify installation” problem:

sudo qmasterprefs -reset
sudo qmasterprefs -restart

I have not yet tried to restart my computer after entering the commands, however, so we still have to wait and see if it’s permanent. But it’s a very quick fix. Thanks to Jon Chappell at digitalrebellion.com

This is only for Comp3. This issue has been going on for like six years now! How stupid is that, Apple?
They have a system to reinstall you can find at the Compressor Repair site and also there’s another ‘fix’ here:
