Satanic Majesty is one of my favorite Stones albums – Brian Jones was at the apex of his creative/crazed genius, and my next favorite album, Beggars Banquet, was yet to come. I stopped buying Stones albums after Beggers Banquet, feeling the creative spark brought to the mix by Brian Jones was gone, and thus the Stones’ spark of genius that took them way past straight ahead rock. Everything after that was “just” rock and roll, and their early stuff (12 x 5, Aftermath, December’s Children…) far surpassed their later stuff for great rock and roll/R&B. Sorry to take the thread in a different direction…

No need to apologize when discussing great art. I disagree with your analysis to the point where I can’t see any decline in Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers and then Exiles on Main Street. For me the decline only started after Exiles, with a very nice reprise for Black and Blue and Some Girls.

But this is the HOME of threads going in different directions!

You’re giving me more credit than I’m due by calling it an “analysis”. It’s just my own weird personal taste in Stones’ music. I also own all the Bonzo Dog DooDah Band albums – does that give you a hint?

They apologized. It was a rogue employee. 😉 Hey, that excuse worked for the banks right?

6 years later…sorry to bring up an old thread. Has anyone purchased from Pixel Film Studios? Are their plugins legit? Any issues? How is their support? Thanks.

MotionVFX is terrific. The gold standard. I usually start there. If they don’t have what I need, I will check out Pixel Film, among others. I have used a number of their plug ins–pretty good, overall, and inexpensive. Support is fairly quick when I have an issue.

Yeah definitely looking into motionVFX. Wanted to also make sure Pixel Film Studios made properly working plugins and if there was an issue, if they were quick to respond and resolve it. Thank you for your feedback.
