January 5, 2007 at 8:29 pmThis seems to happen on some updates. I’ve never seen a reason for why it happens on some and not on others. There’s been a lengthy thread on this recently on the LAFCPUG forum. Try opening a new user and see if Title 3D is in there.
All the best,
Tom

February 1, 2007 at 2:47 pmTom, after re-installing FCP 5.1, updating to the current version, and switching over to a new user, it worked!
Now my question is, how do I get the Boris folder in the generator’s tab — which now works great in my temp user account — to show up in my usual user account? Do I have to copy over all my user prefs and data to the new account?
Thanks for your help!

February 14, 2007 at 4:59 pmOkay, I’m about to give up and archive install. I was hoping I could get away without that kind of headache, but it doesn’t seem to be possible.
Any last ideas about how I might incorporate the correct installation from the new user account into my normal account?
Thanks!
