April 14, 2013 at 1:40 pmThanks for the link to the timers. Finally got one that didn’t add tons of stuff to my browser etc. It was called “Time Tool” and does exactly what I want which was to find out about how much time it actually takes to edit a show. Hard to know otherwise since I work on them in spurts but wanted to know an approximate total time.
Thanks everyone.

April 16, 2013 at 1:05 pmI just use an Excel spreadsheet. I record the start and end times and total the hours

April 16, 2013 at 1:10 pmNigel, that’s what I’ve used. It’s free and it works. After 12 years I’ve gone to doing 4 hour shifts and discipline. I’m betting Roger will either fill out the s/w, for some time and then do something else.
But we all have to try out stuff…
