October 10, 2012 at 2:46 pmLike i explained to Nigel i understand completely. Just funny that other questions are answered and seems like mine is minor and ignored. I dont know why we pay so much for something that doesnt work properly. And i am still struggling and throwing away dvd after dvd. Nigel and Graham has helped me and tried their best to help me with my situation but something is still not right. There is not a lot of tutorials on Pal format settings and what the problem might be. so the search is still on. I have been in the wedding industry for a couple of years. So i am not very new to video editing.
Also did not meen to insult anyone the frustration level has reached its peak.

October 10, 2012 at 3:00 pmWell, for me, I dont always use DVD Architect, i mostly use
ConvertXtoDVD for my basic DVD needs. Its very straight forward
and self correcting and burns absolutely flawless DVD’s in
perfect quality everytime.Steve Rhoden

October 11, 2012 at 8:28 ami have noticed once that going to a church once a week gives me no help, no use. you know what i did? i just quitted.
you’re a funny guy with your irritation, trying to offend people here which mostly have excellent knowledge, to whom you should be thankful. (i don’t mean myself here). i know that many people will reprimand me now. sorry, i am edgy kind of character, i will not fight it to conform standards. i think you should be explained that offending people leads you nowhere. if you don’t like the place, just take the manual for svp, take google, shut up and go away… -

October 11, 2012 at 9:01 amUmm shame Paul you are a edge character indeed.
First of all, I am not a guy if you reed the post carefully
There is no manual to download on sony’s site it just hangs
I have asked help on Sony’s forum no answer 3 days
Then I came to this site also no response
Until I put an quit interesting post heading. All of sudden people can answer you and like you be so arrogantly rude what a pity
I explained to the guys who helped me so much that is a case of irritation rather than to insult someone on this forum I think you will feel the same if you are struggling with something for quit some time. And the best of all I went to pinnicle after much searching google ect. And through pinnacle the dvds still does not work. Last resort is the pc is as IT Thecs. I am a professional editor and Photographer what are you???lastly I think you should do more than just going once a week to church. No church will safe you but a relationship with God will. Believe me then you will not quit.
And going to church has nothing to do with this post.

So what? What was the problem anyway? I don’t see it in the first messageUntil I put an quit interesting post heading.

i wouldn’t call the heading ‘interesting’, but it worked indeed. change your profession then as you appear to be a better copywriter than editor. that was edgy, huh?
Believe me then you will not quit.
there is no god. i stopped taking part in masses as i realized that. And going to church has nothing to do with this post.”
it has a lot. if you don’t like the forum, just stay out of it, like i do about churches.eot as for me

October 11, 2012 at 4:29 pmKaren,
You will find some of the most helpful people in the business on this site. They have come thru for me countless times and generally speaking, the teacher usually learns a little something from the student.
Having said that.. If the question reflects a situation where the person asking the question hasn’t “opened the book”, the help may be a little slower sometimes. Not saying that’s the situation in your case, but that can be a factor in how quickly you get an answer sometimes. Most of these guys like to work on the quirky side of problems, always looking for bug fixes, and workarounds, not training operators in editing 101.
If your problem is basic unfamiliarity with Vegas or DVD architect, you may find a number of YouTube tutorials that will be helpful. I go there all the time. Look for the tutorials with the largest view count.
And if you see the need to re-post because you haven’t gotten any answers, please copy and paste the original question back into the discussion so we don’t have to go looking for your earlier post.
I write all of this with respect for you and your situation, because I’ve been there. I hope you have gotten the answers you sought, and if not, try the tutorials I mentioned.

October 11, 2012 at 7:33 pmThere are two forums under SCS covering Vegas Pro & DVDA respectively. I normally scsn the SCS Vegas Pro forum daily. I’ve had a lot of help and learnt a great deal from others problems. Just scanned back through these forums and can find no unanswered topics that I could relate to ‘karen’ or your topic.
My eyes may be failing so might I trouble you for a link to your SCS posting.
