Do you have stabilization on any of the clips?

    I don’t, no.

Created a new project, added a tonne of different media to it; ProRes 1080p, ProRes 4k, AVCHD, Red 4K, 6K, 8K, DJI drone. Didn’t use proxy workflow, added optical flow and speed ramps to a mix of different clips; no issues. It must be something to do with proxies.

    Update:

The project went back to the client for a few days.
At first it worked fine then after adding an older drive/files it went poop.
Go the project back and did this.
Imported missing files from the “bad” drives in a new Library.
    Created Proxy/Optimized.
Opened the latest Library (a copy on a RAID) and moved the missing file to force link (I forgot who to thank for this tip).
The stupid issue was still there after all that on my MacPro 2013 D700.
Now I figured I would replicate my client’s experience.
I grabbed an older MacBook Pro and installed 10.4.3 (thank Apple for multiple users option).
I grabbed a drive and proceeded to repeat the above.
In the end, I got myself a working project with no Optical Flow Analysis.
Insane what I had to do to get rid of that.
Well, I then mounted the drive on my MacPro and guess what came back 😛
No fear just moved it again to MacBook Pro and all good.
So my next test will be to install 10.4.3 on a friends MacPro (same as my config) and see if it does there too.
This would be my first real bug with both FCPX and MacPro 2013.
I have a dozen of the trashcans at my day job and they are still running smoothly.

This was my last post at “DOA PROJECT” thread:

Well, I feel like an idiot.
This again is what happens when you inherit files from clients.
No communication as to what they were using just the “can you fix this” workflow 😛
It turns out the issue was not any RETIME options in the Project.
Its this stupid transition called FLOW.
    Which uses Optical Flow Analysis.
This is so embarrassing after all the numerous posts and threads I’ve started due to this project ☹
The only reason I found this is after success with XML to Resolve I went back to an old project and started to dig around for Transitions used so that I can maybe replace in Resolve.

Thanks, folks for putting with this.
I hope I can repay all who contributed in the future.
