July 8, 2007 at 9:22 pmSwitching your Render Quality to Best from Normal will get rid of the aliased edges. This can be found under the “View” menu. Of course the render times go way up, but the tradeoff is that graphics are properly rendered. I was dealing with this all last week on logos. The reason it looks good in FCP is that FCP defaults to the Best rendering quality by default, you can check this in your sequence settings under ‘Render Control’ in FCP 6.
