Sound Editor having sync problems with my 23.98 OMF.

It dropped frames? I don’t think so… all you should see is this cadence of frames: A,B,C,C,D.

It should work fine however. We just had an 88 minute feature mixed against a Digibeta and the aiff’s we got back were perfectly in sync against the our 23.98 1080p master.

I didn’t look at it close enough to know the type of cadence of frames, but it probably is A,B,C,C,D.

As for the dropped frames, can’t say for sure how many there are but I did notice at one spot a frame missing so I figured it was through out.

The video doesn’t play smooth. At my work we edit on SD tapes downconverted from HD masters. They seem to play normal so I don’t know why mine doesn’t.
