I have read many of your post and have learned much from them, as I am sure others do. So when I saw that you made a mistake in the one above I knew I must correct you. The Sony HD XDCAM has “True Progressive Chips”
Not only that, but it can be set to record true progressive picture just as the f900 does.Granted as the information is put to disk it is done so in the Psf format just as it is in the f900.The only time the camera records at a reduced resolution is during overcranking….
