John & Shane, why was Dan not advised to get the original rushes and ingest them himself? (I’m not saying that’s the best/better/correct way; I’m just curious.)

Because he asked: “The production company only use Fcp so I have to ask them to convert the rushes to files I can ingest”

Hi Guys,
I have successfully trans-coded the rushes for the project I am working on. But the time code doesn’t seem to have made it across the conversion.

It had time of day code, two cameras, but has reset the start to zero for each clip.

Do you know why this has happened?
