snag in FCP reconnect workflow

I had that same problem. What I did was to create a new sequence in Resolve, with all the files in the media pool added. Then I rendered the sequence preserving the source names as individual clips.

Then back in final cut pro, its just a matter of relinking the old media files with the rendered output from Resolve.
