October 26, 2005 at 8:47 pmOn 1″ Type “C”, timecode is on audio channel three. On standard Betacam, TC is on channel three.
In the service manual for Digital Betacam,for example, the timecode audio track is just called “time code”. It is not given a number.

FWIW I too have never heard of putting TC on A3. A2 on a U-Matic yes. But not this.
