O wow I’m so sorry. Like I’ve said I was pretty tried. When I looked at your picture again I was thinking to myself that I didn’t have that lightroom in the project I’ve uploaded. I went back to the folder I uploaded to Mediafire and it was the wrong file. I must of copied the file next to the file I should of uploaded.

I had two project files “GMC Sonoma Showroom” and “GMC Sonoma Complete” next to each other. I should of copied “Complete” version because that file had the issue. The “Showroom” file which you have doesn’t have the pinstripe on that model. Which I’m sorry I’ve wasted your time to figure that out.

    I feel like a idiot now (-.-)

This is the right file this time. I’ve checked 4 times to make sure it is it.

These two objects with the red arrows you need to look at. I also put this picture in the .zip file so you can see it better. If you are still willing to this that is.

the polys the stripe is on are not attached to the rest of the object. select any one poly under the pinstripe and do a Select Connected and it will only select the 29 polys that are part of the pinstripe group. They are all part of the object but not connected tot he other polys.
Select the pinstripe object, go into point mode, do a select All to select all the points (should be 7697 of them if you have selected polys on in your HUD), run an Optimize (right-click/Optimize or Mesh menu/Optimize) and the points should drop to 6341 as it joins overlapping points and joins all the unconnected polys together (there are more than just the stripe – also causing the other flat areas you are seeing, phong can’t work across unconnected polys)

oh yeah, about triangles, it is ok to use them, and at times it’s not possible to not use them, the place they really are a problem is when using sub-d modelling (HyperNurbs)

Finally got home on this computer and tried what you have said. It works! Thanks for the help.
