Thanks for your reply. So higher shutter degree, more open, more blur, more exposure. But even with the shutter off you are getting 1/30 sec shutter at 30 fps?

Would 216 shutter degree give any problems,or not much differnt from 180?

    Thanks

You’ll just have to be careful with flicker from power supplies, but as before, the Varicam does allow you to see the flicker as you shoot so you can dial it out if it’s a problem by adjusting the shutter one way or another.

    Ok thanks

Just I was told at the rental place that 216 would get rid of 50htz flories when shooting 29.97,and well yes it did seem to as far as I could see in the eye piece, only had LCD screen and they can be tricky with seeing flicker.

    Anyway tomorrow with trusty digibeta!

    Thanks again for your time

“By the way, the VariCam can actually shoot at rates from 1 -60 fps. ”

From what I understand the Varicam can only do from 4-60 fps. How can you get 1 fps?

From what I’ve heard, it’s a hidden feature… A friend of mine went to a course here in Spain where teachers showed him..

    Greetings from Spain.
