I’m with you on that- a “DVX100C” with native 16:9 would be a more affordable alternative to folks not needing HD right now.

This must seem pretty strange replying to this post after a few years. My problem is i am about to shoot a film on the canon GL1 (the only camera I Have) and was wondering what your views are concerning making a 35mm print at a later stage. Many thanks. Clive
