I hope you meant increase in rendering speed, not time.

Yes, I’m sorry I meant to say it boasts an increase in rendering ‘speed’. That was a bad typing error.
I was very frustrated at that point in time (still am) since I upgraded my whole PC to a Core 2 Duo, now with 4 GB RAM, and my realtime playback remained poor, and the exports took roughly the same time. Exports don’t bother me that much, but my realtime playback performance was just poor, especially when you have a client viewing the edit…
Two months later and I still have no solution, there are a few other codecs but, to me +- $499 is a ridiculous price to pay for a codec, when Adobe Premiere should include a similar codec in it’s core kernal, engine, renderer, or what ever it’s called, that JUST IS MORE EFFICIENT! I mean if there are codecs out there that do all this, am I right to assume this ‘coding’ should be included with Premiere?
Anyway, I am weary of installing demos that expire, I don’t like to leave things on my system. Your codec seems to be the ideal codec, but I cannot be sure of it’s performance because I went through a lot of effort to hear from other people who may have been using it. I posted mainly on the Adobe Premiere forums and nobody seems to have used it, or just never read my posts…
I say again, the Sheer Codec seems the best solution and the price is nice.
Kind Regards
