I created a quick tutorial on how to key your footage using Motion. One thing I forgot to say in the video is that you will want to delete the white layer before saving or exporting your footage. I only put the layer there because it is easier to see the results of your key against a white background than it is a black one. Let me know if you have any questions…

November 3, 2010 at 4:40 pmKeylight every time. It’s not cheap, but it’s amazingly good. It’s also bundled into AE if you have access to that. I think there’s a trial for FCP/Motion.
