I created a quick tutorial on how to key your footage using Motion. One thing I forgot to say in the video is that you will want to delete the white layer before saving or exporting your footage. I only put the layer there because it is easier to see the results of your key against a white background than it is a black one. Let me know if you have any questions…

Keylight every time. It’s not cheap, but it’s amazingly good. It’s also bundled into AE if you have access to that. I think there’s a trial for FCP/Motion.
