It would help to know more details about your system…monitoring setup, sequence settings, graphics creation workflow, etc. in order to better be able to answer your question. I do almost all my serious graphics work in either After Effects or Combustion, but FCP is capable of fairly decent graphics with the correct settings.

Which raid card are you currently using? I just purchased a Sonnet and was considering getting the Rocketraid with the external “harmonica” sata connector. Have heard slightly better reviews of the Rocketraid.
I’m using Seagate 400gb Barracudas. Would you recommend using Softraid over Apple’s raid utility with the Sonnet card?
