Sequence with HDV, XDCAM EX and Animation keeps crashing

I’m using all those codecs in FC since years, and all of them works great. Files corruption and a poor system maintenance is the main cause of those issues.

I had no idea of the 444 transparence issue; this may be just another on the long list of bugs and shortcomings of that codec.
Anyway, set your sequence to Prores and “Render all YUV in High Precision”.

The system is really well maintained, please believe me…

Anyway: Replacing the Animation clips with ProRes 4444 seems to have solved the issue.

I wondered if the data rate (50 MB/s) of the Animation would have anything to do with it – I have used Animation clips in SD sequences with mixed codecs for years and never had a problem.
