March 14, 2006 at 8:30 pmI tried moving the timeline to the other monitor, but still the same problem.
The drives have plenty of space left. All drives have more than 20% space left.
I checked the drop-down box and it was already set to “Fit to Window”.
Waveforms are not showing in timeline.
I double-checked to make sure the sequence setting is the same as media setting and they are both the same.
BUT still the SAME problem. I get the beach ball and it will NOT play the timeline.
I guess the only solution I have is to export the timeline into one single QT file and try to edit from that. Hopefully that will work. Unless anyone else has other suggestions?
Thanks for all your help.

March 14, 2006 at 8:53 pmIf the problem you are having is just with that one sequence/project then your solution would seem to be the best step

March 15, 2006 at 7:57 pmUsually, it’s a drive problem when you can’t playback. But since your same sequence had formerly played back without problems, perhaps you have a corrupt sequence.
Try this: Copy/Paste all the clips into a new sequence. See how that works.
