[Bernard Newnham] “”And… Happy Doctor Who Christmas special. A tradition, now, in our house.”

I used to work on that, many years ago when Pat Trougton,Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker were Doctors. Happy days. Once we found a Dalek parked in the scenery runway and rode around in it. Left one of our colleagues inside for while, as you can’t get out without help.

That’s why I wished it to you. When I was a boy Tom Baker was THE Doctor, though that may have been somewhat delayed here in the states. My daughter is a fanatic about the current batch. Have to say that I am too. And the new companion-hubba, hubba.

We still watch. I saw the first in November 1963, I started working on the odd one in 1966, and I’d still enjoying it now. I’m not a Dr Who anorak – you can’t be if you’ve seen short-sighted Katy Manning missing her marks again – but have always thought it was fun.

Likewise to all my COW friends. Been on location forever and can’t wait to get back to the comfort of my studio this winter and catch up on all the big brain developments.

I’m having a heck of a time trying to reboot the XMas tree.
    The ornaments keep crashing.
I can’t figure out how to tie ribbons around downloadable apps.
The chestnuts are taking too long to render.
The popcorn keeps giving me kernel panics

That does it! I’m going to turn on a Quad Core Power Mac and wait ’till that gets nice and toasty and make Potato Latkes on top of it. That should cook real fast.

    Happy Holidays!

    Enjoy!

I ate the green corn ones before Tim got to them.

Ours too. The Doctor did, after all, save us once again from dire circumstances this past Friday.

    Shh! Spoilers.

But, yes. Indeed. Maybe next year will have a Mayan theme.
