I’ll just add that we have two LaCie S2S 1.5TB units that have been cranking for over two years now without an issue. We even have a 500GB model running on the same system. Cutting DVCPro HD 720 and 1080i long form documentaries pretty much exclusively.

March 11, 2008 at 2:37 amOkay, Bob. Cutting my losses. Done. Finished. Out of gas… LOL! As I mentioned, I was able to get the RAID to show on the desktop. I’m backing up everything on the RAID and moving on! I will look into one of the companies you recommended. Thank you so much for holding my hand through all of this!!!!! Oh, and btw, I was able to spend so much time on this ’cause I was working from other drives and 4 of the days I was down with the flu and not working at all. 🙂
Peace and again, thank you so much!
