August 2, 2005 at 3:04 amthanks, but we haven/t been using FCP for this scroll. it was generated in photoshop, and brought in as a tiff file. the image was then animated with 2 keyframes to give a scroll effect.
its the movement of this ‘image’ that looks dodgy. although it is one clean movement from one keyframe at the beginning to one at the end (to give the scroll effect) the titles continue to rumble along like an old truck. its jsut like that actually. like the text image is moving over a rough surface.

frame rate: 25fps, PAL, Blackmagic Codec (16:9 anamorphic), Decklink, outputing to digibeta.
the text ‘image’ was created in Photoshop.
PSDoc. specs: 1024 x 576 @ 72 dpi. (im thinking that the answer to this problem could lie here. Maybe this should be set to CCIR 601 DV PAL widescreen? (same as FCP sequence settings)
let me know what you think?
thanks
