Activity Forums Avid Media Composer Script Sync question

    Ok, so it’s part of MC but yet you still have to pay extra for it?

    It’s an option that only works with Media Composer. Same with PhraseFind.

    I don’t know of any Free ones. I’d suggest searching both youtube and Avid’s site.

    Again, Script sync (and scripting) aren’t an ‘app’ – they’re part of Media composer.

    The Script features permit you to import a script. Text or Final draft format.
    Then you select lines + drag a take to those lines of a script. The manual mentions how to make marks manually or use scriptsync.

    As I understood it, the demo permitted a trial of both scriptsync and phrasefind.
