September 15, 2011 at 5:55 pmHi Margus, do u mean that the banding was caused by the projector? But if so, why there’s no banding issue when connect the same projector to other hdmi output devices, PS3 or even an iPad it’s smooth?

September 15, 2011 at 5:58 pmI’m just wondering. This is why i asked. But if you have tested with other sources then
it is not projector.—

September 15, 2011 at 5:59 pmI don’t think yuv422 could cause this contour. Just like single link SDI also display beautiful image.

September 15, 2011 at 6:13 pmYes, RS35 has a good reputation among small post business. I doubt it’s a decklink HDMI bug?

September 16, 2011 at 8:21 amI was told by BMD tech support that the HDMI out of the Decklink Extreme is 8 bit!
And remember, if you go the HDLink route, you must have the Displayport version, not the DVI (which is also limited to 8 bit)

This is the preferred solution today.
All BMD products I could find limit HDMI to 422 YUV.
If that could be changed via a firmware update, it would be tits.A slice of color…
