    Ok cool thx.

I downloaded the Avid DNxHD codec, unzipped and installed it. Yet didn’t see it as an option when I went to render in quicktime (.mov) format. Is there something else I need to do for vegas to recognize it?

At the risk of being annoying here, can I ask one more question?

I’m curious if the “project properties” effect the final render. In other words for the fields marked “pixel format”, there is an option for 8bit, 32-bit (video levels), 32-bit (full range). Also right below that there is a “compositing gamma” field with an option to choose 2.222 (video). I definitely see a color/quality difference when I select these different settings for the project. However, are these the correct settings? Or do they have an impact on the final render or are they simply for viewing within Vegas?

    Thanks again..
