i had forgotten about that qt7.4 issue… it was fixed in qt7.4.1.

here are some quicktime updates that i found at apple that are panther (10.3) compatible:

at first glance, it looks like you can get to qt7.5, but at least install qt7.4.1 which fixed that bug.

Thank you Kevin. I just resolved the problem last night.
I bought the Leopard OS, before it went of the shelves, and downloaded version 7.6.2. Your right, it was a Quicktime problem.

Of course now I have a new problem. I have a CanoScan N650U and I can’t find a driver that works with Leopard. If you know of any, I’d really appreciate it.
