Remove background scenery

Since the person on camera is some kind of performer, I’d look for images of film, tv or commercial sets where you can see cameras, lights, flags and other production gear in the background to give the idea that he is taking a break from his filming to make the video you are editing. Try Google search for Creative Commons images, try Flickr for Creative Commons images – or buy an image from iStockPhoto or a similar place – you can easily darken an image if that’s what you need.
