I wonder if you can send your images to Apple Support, if they would have anything to say on the matter. It seems like a fairly big issue even outside of our color correction world that playing back a DVD screws up the color so much.

and how you send the dvd player (hardware) to the sdi of the ultrascope ?I am trying to to do it since months with no success (to be able to see movies on my calibrated SDI ref monitor …but i can’t find the way to do it because of the HDCP , and any HDMI to SDI converter won’t work…
please let me know that you know how to do it! (i am interested on an HD signal)

I don’t, I send component or composite to the Blackmagic Broadcast Converter, then from there sdi to the Ultrascope[Vladimir Kucherov] “I wonder if you can send your images to Apple Support,”
I would if I beleived it would change something, but Apple seems much too busy building iStuff. ColorSync and Quicktime have been a mess for yearsI I believe they don’t care.Michael Cinquin
