    Michael,

I wonder if you can send your images to Apple Support, if they would have anything to say on the matter. It seems like a fairly big issue even outside of our color correction world that playing back a DVD screws up the color so much.

    hi michael ,
and how you send the dvd player (hardware) to the sdi of the ultrascope ?

I am trying to to do it since months with no success (to be able to see movies on my calibrated SDI ref monitor …but i can’t find the way to do it because of the HDCP , and any HDMI to SDI converter won’t work…

please let me know that you know how to do it! (i am interested on an HD signal)

    thanks

    g

I don’t, I send component or composite to the Blackmagic Broadcast Converter, then from there sdi to the Ultrascope

I would if I beleived it would change something, but Apple seems much too busy building iStuff. ColorSync and Quicktime have been a mess for yearsI I believe they don’t care.

    thanks ,

    will component HD work ?

it’s nice to see that an analog signal does not shift the color …
