    HI
It was there in Software Update yesterday – I did a reinstall and update for someone on a new laptop.

Any way I could get my hands on it? I’ve got a public folder on .me and Dropbox.

    I’d greatly appreciate it!!!

I think I have a line on it. Making some calls. If I find it I’ll let you know – serves me right for using the software updater!

I just updated a new install of FCS3 last night, so hopefully that means that the auto-update still works… (crosses fingers…)

I meant doing the updates through software updates on the Mac?

[Brian Charles] ” while FCP 7 runs under Lion, the installer is PPC and won’t run in Lion.”

    huh?!?

I saw someone else state that as well.

makes no sense, fcp 7 only works on intel hardware, ppc no supported.

Just tested with a new install. The Pro Apps Updater is still available from Software Updater.
