Plural eyes and Vegas 17
Posted by Martin Phillips on April 13, 2020 at 3:43 pmHi all, is there a workaround to get pluraleyes 4 to appear in the extensions of Vegas 17. I’ve noticed there is a Vegas sync audio in the multi-cam menu but so far it’s taken 2 hours to do 2 % of a 140 minute 4 camera timeline. Thanks Martin

April 17, 2020 at 12:04 amCopy the file “PE4Vegas14.dll” which is in the folder .. C:\Program files\Red Giant\Pluraleyes 4\
then paste it to … C:\ProgramData\Vegas Pro\Application Extensions\or … “PE4VegasLoader14.dll” rather than “PE4Vegas14.dll”

July 7, 2020 at 5:06 amI have a working copy of Vegas Pro 17 and a working copy of Pluraleyes 4.
I can open Pluraleyes on it’s own….but it tells me it must be opened within SV17 to sync my project.
I created the directory: C:\Program Files\VEGAS Pro 17.0\Application Extensions
I’ve tried pasting the following into Application Extensions:
PE4VegasLoader14.dll
PE4VegasLoader8.dllYet, neither shows up in extensions.
Any idea what I could be doing wrong?I also tried uninstalling programs, cleaning registry of leftover files, then reinstalling programs.

July 7, 2020 at 8:40 pmThanks for your quick response John,
Yes….it’s in the ProgramData (I made a typo)
Still does not show in SVP17 extensions.I’m under the gun with a 9 camera project….over 50 clips of staggered media which will take me many hours to sync manually. I’ve used PluralEyes successfully in the past….but this is a new editing computer with plenty of muscle and it just doesn’t want to let me use PluralEyes for some reason.
Your help is greatly appreciated. -

July 7, 2020 at 10:29 pmHi Brian, I’m afraid that’s all I can think of, save to completely uninstall vp and or Pluraleyes maybe both. Then try again.

July 7, 2020 at 11:29 pmOne other thing Brian, vp17 has a built in syncing feature, apparently it works best if you select only a smaller selection, not necessarily all media at once. From my memory of users on the Magix vp forum, uninstalling and re installing Pluraleyes can remedy the situation.
