Plug-in for that “video interference” look?

Why buy a plugin for something you have already paid for?
In FCP6 aka FCS2
Effects>Video Filters>Stylize>Bad TV
Apply the filter to the clip.
Load the clip with the applied filter in the Viewer.
Select Filters Tab, drop down arrow on the ‘Bad TV’ filter will reveal 9 key-frame adjustable parameters to customize the look. If this still doesn’t get what you want, stack another filter with this one.

Hi Anthony,

I’m not sure if you’ve found anything yet, but I was working on a very similar shot a few weeks ago and someone showed me how a few minutes in AE/FCP, manipulating simple things like scale, rotation, etc looks much better than a plugin. The example I was shown, went in on individual frames and randomly scaled the shot up, then down, then rotated it, then a freeze frame, then a random white flash, etc. The point was that true randomization, in the end, looked so much better than a plugin and one frame “distortions” looked more realistic and cool.
