January 5, 2011 at 9:40 pmCan you send me a short sample file that’s IMX50 with 4 x 24 or 8 x 16? Also could you briefly step me through your export? File–>export, select MPEG2 MXF, etc etc
Thanks

January 5, 2011 at 10:04 pmI´m sending you a zip file with the IMX50 4 x 24 file and two print screen with the setting that I used.
You will see that I’m using the Main Concept plugin because the MPEG2 IMX default setting of Premiere is pretty bad, and neither can swap audio in 24 bit, as you can see in print screen “premiere_codec”.

January 5, 2011 at 10:25 pmthis one fails as well with ‘rec format mismatched’ error when trying to FTP to a PDW-HD1500. i have a feeling there is something wrong with the file Premiere is encoding. i will need to test on my end with an export from our CS5 system. there was a bug in CS5 that affected certain exports but I believe that was already addressed. stand by..

January 6, 2011 at 9:55 pmI was able to get this to work successfully using the attached settings. Can you try an export using the attached Main Concept template? The U1 had no problem writing these to disc..
If this fails we may need to have Adobe take a look at a short sample file to help us determine of some errant information is being placed in the file header or elsewhere. Our tech office does not have a hex editor or anything comparable. The files you sent me will play in the dedicated Sony MXF player but they hiccup and stutter continuously. None of the machines will write these to disc and the FTP daemon on the HD-1500 keeps returning a ‘rec format unmatched’ error, which means there’s probably something slightly out of spec with the files…

January 7, 2011 at 11:38 amHi Ian,
Thank you, you save me.
I could write the file using the template that you sent me.
Does the problem was that I was using the Multiplex OP-1A?Best regards,

February 18, 2011 at 9:08 amHi there!
I had the very same trouble I find this post very useful, but how do I merge the .ini file in Premiere Pro? There’s such a thing like “Import Settings Template” somewhere?Regards,
B.
