PDW-700 Now Available

There is just one problem. Although FCP now accepts the 422 50Mbps footage from the PDW-700, the XDCAM transfer unfortunately does not, yet.

I just tried it with the footage I shot the other week with the 700. Because Sony have not yet updated the XDCAM transfer software to be able to import the 50Mbps footage correctly, the footage still can’t be used with FCP.
