Erm… OS X has been a rock solid 64-bit OS for at least the last 2 or so major versions. But of course you are correct, you can address more than 3GB of RAM on XP 64 as well.

We use Bold Data Systems machines here at the COW. In fact, all of our servers are BDS boxes, all five of them and we have another one that we will be adding to the farm to help take some of the weight of the ever increasing traffic here.
They build great boxes and their support is simply the best we have found.
