Very true. So far so good, though.
[Shane Ross] “And it is always good to have verification of copying, so that is why I like P2 Log and HD Log.”
CMS verifies. It’s called ‘Do Compare’ in the export options.

June 24, 2008 at 8:32 amFor me using FCP – how should I use P2 Log? Does P2 Log copy the P2 files onto a disk I have choosen? (obviously, since it does verify the copy).
Now I don’t have anything but a folder with P2 content (copied by using Finder). Can I use P2 Log demo on that footage for a try-out?

Yes. Then you can also log the footage and export an XML to FCP. The footage will come in logged (with your names) and wrapped in Quicktimes.

Only 10 seconds of footage or something like that. You will see when you download it. You will get a sense of what it does.

June 25, 2008 at 5:40 pmI could be mistaken, but I was unable to offload and verify using P2log Pro–I upgraded to the Bronze version of HD log, and it works great.
Also, the people at imagine software were very helpful.

You’re right about that and not mistaken.

It advertises that it works with p2 store, but what do you mean by multiple clips?

https://www.imagineproducts.com/hdlog.htm then click on ‘Offload P2’.
